Out and about with the brick

Thought I'd dust down my old Hi-8 cam and take it out and about. I got it over 7 years ago and it's had less than an hour of recording time on it. I wanted to see how it compared to my stills cameras (Canon Ixus 50 and Fuji S5500) that I use for video. All things considered it did not a bad job. It didn't like the Glasgow sky and blew it out on all shots but I had it on auto so maybe if I'd changed the settings it would have coped a bit better. The first few seconds were taken with my Canon Ixus 50 to show how big the Canon UC-X50Hi is compared to compact MiniDV Cams.
I took the video yesterday walking through the Glasgow Necropolis with views over to Glasgow Cathedral and the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
