This is a short clip from a trip to Lower Largo in Fife last Sunday. It's the first time I've been there. A nice wee place. It was very cold though. Brrr. Didn't know anything about Lower Largo till I did a google search when I got back home. It was the birth place of Alexander Selkirk who apparently provided the inspiration for Daniel Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe" novel which I have to say have never read or been interested in. This is the inscription on the wall at the Alexander Selkirk statue.

I hate fireworks. With a passion. Always have. Bah humbug! Nonetheless, here's a photo taken from Rutherglen on bonfire night on the 5 November. In the foreground is Calderwood Road, Rutherglen, and in the background you can see fireworks going off all over Glasgow. Probably easier to see in the larger image.

We've had a fair bit of rain recently. Not many opportunities to take the camera out. This one is from August, taken in the Botanic Gardens, Glasgow.
