Lord Kelvin with Traffic Cone

There are not many statues in Glasgow that escape a traffic cone on the head at some point and Lord Kelvin (William Thomson) is no exception. Probably the most famous statue with a traffic cone almost permanently on its head is situated outside the Gallery of Modern Art. I was walking past one day and not only did Wellington have a traffic cone on his head, his horse was also adorned with a traffic cone on each ear. Ah Glasgow humour!
