My commute

I've moved house so it's been a bit quiet round the website for a couple of months. I finally came to the the end of my tether with the daily commute between Glasgow and Edinburgh. I'd been doing that for three and a half years. I have no idea how I managed it for so long and it's only now that I'm not doing that journey everyday that I realise how much of an impact it had on my life. I now have a short cycle to work, mostly on a cycle path. What a difference it makes. Phew.

It's good to see you back in action - I was beginning to wonder if you had given up on the site. :-)

@Gary thanks. What a difference it makes :-)
@Colin it really was a bird! So much nicer to be able to listen to the birds along the cycle path than the drone of the motorway.
@Pam great to hear from you. Glad you like the blog.
